Bartlesville Man Facing Strangulation Charge

A Bartlesville man is facing a felony charge after allegedly strangling someone.
 
19-year-old Nicholas Alday was charged on Monday with domestic assault and battery by strangulation.
 
According to the Bartlesville Police Department, on May 27, Alday allegedly got into an argument with the victim. The victim allegedly provided authorities with an audio recording of the altercation, where Alday allegedly slapped the victim twice and strangled the victim. Gasps for air from the victim could allegedly be heard on the recording.
 
Alday will appear in court again on June 13 at 9 a.m. His bond is set at $50,000.
