Bartlesville Man Charged Domestic Abuse

A Bartlesville man is facing a felony charge after allegedly abusing someone.
35-year-old Robert McGlothen was charged on Friday with domestic abuse with a prior pattern of physical abuse.
According to the Bartlesville Police Department, on May 29, McGlothen allegedly got into an argument with the victim and struck the victim in the head. When the victim yelled for help, McGlothen allegedly covered the victim's mouth to keep them quiet.
The victim allegedly had a large swollen knot on their forehead, and a bloody nose with red bruising on and around the nose. McGlothen allegedly had a swollen bruised knuckle on his right hand.
The victim's child allegedly witnessed the altercation and heard the victim screaming.
McGlothen also faces two misdemeanor charges involving the same victim for domestic abuse by assault and battery in February, and threatening to perform an act of violence in January.
McGlothen will appear in court again on June 13 at 9 a.m. His bond is set at $50,000.
