Panthers Looking to Build Depth Offensively

Ty Loftis
Barnsdall head football coach Kylee Sweeney opted to take it lighter than some during the spring portion of this year's spring practice. Sweeney chose to take it easy, as he had a few players still recovering from spring sport injuries, thus the Panthers only had seven spring practices and didn't go to any team camps.
With that, he said there are around 35 kids out and there will be plenty of open competition over the summer. Sweeney goes on to elaborate on some of the positions he will be keeping an eye on offensively.
The big spot that the Panthers will be looking to fill will be the quarterback position after three year starter Maverick Lamphear graduated. Sweeney talks about what the new gunslinger, Lincoln Gott brings to the table.
Between summer pride workouts and 7 on 7 passing league in Pawhuska, the Panthers are sure to stay plenty busy over the summer. We will have more on Barnsdall football in the months ahead.
