Bartlesville Man Charged With Possession of Fentanyl

A Bartlesville man is facing felony charges after allegedly possessing fentanyl.
 
34-year-old Zachary Townsley was charged on Friday with unlawful possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute, acquiring proceeds from drug activity and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
 
According to the Bartlesville Police Department, on May 20, officers from the Bartlesville Police Department and agents from the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics performed a search warrant on Townsley's residence. During the search, authorities allegedly found various paraphernalia in which fentanyl can be used.
 
According to the Bartlesville Police Department, authorities also allegedly found a set of digital scales, over $2,000 and a semi-automatic handgun that was allegedly entered in the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) as stolen.
 
Townsley will appear in court again on June 13 at 9 a.m. His bond is set at $50,000.
