Bartlesville High baseball dropped a non-District game on Thursday afternoon in day one of the Pryor Festival.

BHS fell to Chickasha, 6-2.

Bartlesville, which has been swinging it better of late, managed only three hits and committed five errors in the game. Barrett Merciez, Damien Niko and Cooper Swaim tallied the hits.

Youngster Sterling Kroh got the start, allowed five hits and five runs over four frames, but two were unearned. He struck out three and walked three. Jaxon Zaun and Sam Marcella both came in for the final three innings.

With the loss, BHS drops to 14-9 on the year. The Bruins will play another Friday afternoon contest in Pryor.

Our next Bruin broadcast is on Monday at Stillwater, KWON and KWONTV.com will have both sides of that District set next week.
