Former Bartlesville High head boys’ basketball coach Tommy DeSalme was officially introduced as the head coach at Garden City Community College earlier this week.

DeSalme departed BHS after one year on the job last week. He won three games with an extremely young group of Bruins in 2024-25.

At his introductory press conference in Garden City, he talked about coming home for the past year.

The next head coach for BHS will be its third in the past three years, which is unusual for one of the most stable jobs in 6A boy's hoops. BHS had only three coaches in its previous 24 years prior to DeSalme’s departure.
