Oklahoma Union baseball is still on fire as March nears an end. Coming out of the first full week after spring break, the Cougars are 10-1.

OKU has dominated the competition over the last few games. Winners of nine in a row, OKU has won the last four by nine or more runs. They have outscored their opponents 61-7 in that stretch.

The Cougars are currently playing in the Ironmen Classic in Nowata which wraps up on Saturday. OKU is 2-0 in the tournament with a 23-0 win over Oaks Mission and an 11-1 win over Collinsville's JV squad. Sequoyah Claremore is next on Saturday to bring the weekend to a close.

Head coach Aaron Funkhouser said he's more familiar with his squad this year than he was a year ago.

After Oklahoma Union wraps up the Ironmen Classic on Saturday, the Cougars jump right back into things on Monday and Tuesday with games against Copan and Wyandotte.
