Asher Excels in Start at Arkansas

Evan Fahrbach
Former Bartlesville High Bruin and Doenges Indian Brenden Asher had his best start of his collegiate career in a big position on Tuesday night.
Asher got the start for Oral Roberts on the road at No. 3 Arkansas and he gave the Golden Eagles a chance.
Asher went the first four frames. He gave up only one run on four hits. He had two walks and one strikeout.
The outing was the longest of Asher’s young ORU freshman season, as he has worked himself back from an injury. This was Asher’s fourth appearance and third start.
Arkansas would hold on to a close game, 4-1.
The Golden Eagles are 12-6 on the year.
