Lady Huskies Finish the Year 22-5

Let's take a look back at the year that was for the Pawhuska Lady Husky basketball team. The Lady Huskies finished with an impressive 22-5 record and had their season come to a close on a heart-breaking buzzer-beating loss to Fairview in the consolation round of the Area Tournament.
Coach David Cash doesn't make any excuses, but does acknowledge that the season-ending injuries of Pari Harper and Maggie Green hurt, but also credits the younger players for stepping up in their absence.
Pawhuska will graduate five seniors. Four of those seniors started on this year's team when the season began. Cash touches on what that group meant to the program.
That senior class made it to the state tournament as sophomores, winning the area tournament once and making it to area on two other occassions.
