Severe Thunderstorms Possible

Thunderstorm chances as well as severe weather potentials increase Monday night from west to east across eastern OK and northwest AR ahead of an approaching dryline. Large hail and damaging wind gusts are the primary hazards, with the greater potential across portions of eastern Oklahoma after midnight Monday night. This activity continues into Tuesday before the dryline can exit the region.

Thunderstorm chances as well as severe weather potentials continue Tuesday across portions of eastern OK and also western AR. Large hail and damaging winds are the primary hazards Tuesday, though a limited tornado threat may develop as well. Majority of the severe potentials are forecast to spread eastward from Monday night through Tuesday morning and exit by early afternoon.

Severe thunderstorms are most likely for locations in zone 1 between 4 AM to 7 AM Monday night/ Tuesday morning. Severe weather in zone 2 is most likely to occur between 6 AM and 9 AM Tuesday morning. All severe weather is expected to end by noon on Tuesday.
