Oklahoma Wesleyan basketball fell to Bethel on Saturday in the semifinals of the KCAC tournament in Bartlesville, 67-64.

OKWU struggled offensively early and had to fight their way through to stay in it. Bethel started the game out on a 12-4 run and led by eight at halftime, 32-24. The Eagles were 9-30 shooting in the first half.

OKWU knocked some shots down in the second half to keep the game close. Bethel's lead grew to 11 midway through the second half before the Eagles made some big runs.

Isaac Stanek was a big part of that, knocking down this three-pointer to tie the game in the last two minutes.

Bethel made enough free throws down the stretch to maintain a three-point lead. Derrick Talton Jr. had a look at the buzzer to tie the game but could not get the shot to fall.

OKWU will still get an automatic bid to the NAIA national tournament as regular season conference champions. They will await their regional assignment for the upcoming tournament.

The first round of the NAIA tournament starts March 14.
