Dewey Falls in Claremore

Dewey Bulldogger basketball dropped their regional semifinal test against Sequoyah (Claremore) on Thursday, 78-54.
The Bulldoggers had trouble defensively, Sequoyah got hot from the outside early and didn't take their foot off the gas. The Eagles led at halftime, 47-29.
Dewey tried to match Sequoyah's impressive shooting night by knocking down some outside shots of their own. Tra Hicks made two three-pointers, Karson Johnson also had another impressive shooting night.
Johnson made this three-pointer in the third quarter to try and keep Dewey in it.
The Bulldoggers with the loss drop them into the consolation bracket of regionals where they now have to win two games in a row to get to area.
Dewey will take on Adair in Adair on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Adair took out Westville on Thursday, 59-45.
Coverage of Friday's elimination game can be heard on KRIG 104.9 FM and an audio only livestream on KRIGTV.com.
