Bartlesville High girl’s hoops take on Westmoore in the first round of the 6A Regionals on Thursday evening.

It is an elimination game for the Lady Bruins and Lady Jaguars. Winner will move on to likely face Broken Arrow on Saturday, loser is done for the season.

The BHS girls rebounded with a win over Ponca City this past Friday after limping a bit into the final few weeks of the regular season. Bartlesville finished fifth in 6A District 4 after losing to Enid and Jenks the second time through the District schedule.

Head coach Justyn Shaw says that the word of the week for the Lady Bruins is “compete."

As for Westmoore, the Lady Jags are 13-9. Score-comparisons would show this game will likely be competitive. Westmoore finished fourth in 6A District 3.
