Nowata Eliminated by Wyandotte

Nowata basketball came to a close in the 2024-25 campaign on Tuesday as the Ironmen were eliminated by Wyandotte, 60-35, in the regional consolation championship game in Ramona.
The Ironmen struggled offensively early but throughout the first half they stayed in it with solid defense. Once shots started to fall in the second quarter, Nowata started to come back.
The second half was not kind to the Ironmen offensively. They scored just 12 points in the final two frames.
The loss ends Nowata's season, they finish things off with a record of 16-10.
Wyandotte will get Fairview in the opening round of area on Thursday afternoon.
