Pawhuska Senior Night a Success

It was a successful senior night for the Pawhuska Huskies, as both the boys and girl's came away with victorious over Woodland. The Lady Huskies cruised to victory from the beginning and after a slow first half, the boys were able to edge out a win as well. 
 
It was a slow start for the Pawhuska boys, as the Huskies trailed 16-9 at the end of the first half. The Huskies got into a rhythym in the second half though and went on to beat the Cougars, 42-37. 
 
Pawhuska's largest lead stood at nine. It came off this defensive play midway through the fourth quarter.
 
Jenson Snodgrass led the way in scoring for Pawhuska. The win moves Pawhuska to 10-13 on the season. 
 
The Lady Huskies were in control from start to finish in a 54-26 win over Woodland. The senior Hannah Reynolds led the way with 24 points, but Madison Easley and Brooklyn Miles also finished in double figures. 
 
Reynolds surpassed the 1,500 career point mark in her career on Monday night. A part of that came during the midway mark of the first quarter to give Pawhuska a 10-4 edge.
 
Up next for Pawhuska is districts. The Huskies will begin playoff play by hosting Wyandotte on Friday. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. Coverage can be heard on 99.1 FM KPGM and KPGMTV.com.
