Class 2A and below basketball teams throughout our area will begin postseason action this weekend, with Districts starting a long playoff trip for Barnsdall, Copan, Wesleyan Christian School, South Coffeyville, Caney Valley Ramona, Pawhuska, Oklahoma Union and Nowata this weekend.

Because of the upcoming postseason, many teams will play their final regular season games of the year early this week, including a pretty busy schedule on Monday night:

Dewey is at home against Sperry, the Bulldoggers do not get into postseason play until a week from this weekend. We will have coverage of the Doggers and Pirates on Monday at 7:30 for the guys on KRIG 104.9 with video coverage on KRIGTV.com.

Meanwhile Pawhuska does have its regular season finale on Monday. The Huskies will take on Woodland for a double-header. A 6:00 tip for the girls, 7:30 for the guys on Sports Talk 99.1 FM – KPGM. Video coverage on KPGMTV.com.

Also on Monday evening, Oklahoma Union will travel to Commerce for a double-header.
