Nowata Hoops Dominate OKU

Nowata took the season series over Oklahoma Union on Friday, 60-36. The Ironmen carried a six point lead into the half, 25-19, and exploded from the outside to run away with a rivalry win.
Ryan Walton helped lead the charge for Nowata. He knocked down some big shots from the outside, finding his way in the corner with open looks. He made this three-pointer in the fourth quarter that helped put OKU away.
The Ironmen also saw another great game from Talon Thompson and Chelo Prince.
Nowata with the win improves to 13-8, they get Caney Valley - Ramona next on Tuesday, Feb. 11. Oklahoma Union falls to 11-12, they go on the road for Commerce on Monday, Feb. 10.
