Bruin Hoops Head to Enid
Bartlesville High makes a longer trip to Enid tonight, a return trip in District action, and the second-to-last road District double-header of the year.
The Bruin guys came as close as they’ve been to winning a District contest on Tuesday against Sapulpa. BHS lost to the Chieftains by two. This was about six weeks after losing by 39 in Sapulpa.
Head coach Tommy DeSalme talks about his team’s effort this past Tuesday.
BHS led throughout much of the first three quarters and led by as many as eight in the second half.
Onto Enid on Friday, the Plainsmen and BHS split in Bruin Field House, with the Lady Bruins winning a one-possession game. The BHS guys lost 46-28 the last time out.
After scoring 40 points or more just twice before mid-January. The Bruins have now scored 40 or more in five of their last seven.
DeSalme talks about his club moving forward.
A 6:00 tip for the girls, thirty minutes earlier than usual, with about a 7:30 tip for the boys.
We will have both on KWON and KWONTV.com with pregame coming just after 5:30.
