Bartlesville High basketball is back with a single girl’s game on Thursday night on the road at Muskogee.

BHS will travel to Sand Springs to take on the Sandites in a District double-header on Friday evening.

The Lady Bruins are coming off a 1-2 weekend in their tournament in Frontenac, Kansas. After winning the first night, BHS had back-to-back losses to schools from the Sunflower State in Blue Valley Southwest and St. Mary’s Colgan.

Head coach Justyn Shaw says he thought Bartlesville’s defense could have been better this past weekend.

Bartlesville had a seven-point lead in the loss against one of 6A’s best. The third and fourth quarters were not kind to BHS offensively.

The Lady Bruins have a seven-player rotation on most nights. Shaw says fatigue may have played an issue in the loss to Edmond North.

It will be a 6:30 tip for the Lady Bruins at Muskogee on Thursday night. This is a single game we will have for you on KWON with some video coverage on KWONTV.com.
