Pawhuska Splits With Wilson

In a last minute decision, Pawhuska decided to schedule a game on Tuesday night with Wilson. The girl's walked away with an easy 61-21 win over a Lady Tiger team that came in an 11-2 record. The boys fell 63-59 to one of the top ranked teams in Class B.
On the guys side, Pawhuska played a full 32 minutes, but came up short against Wilson. In a back and forth first half, the Huskies led 33-31. They led for the better part of the second half before uncharacteristic turnovers led to Wilson taking a late lead and getting the victory.
Trailing by four with just under three minutes remaining, Pawhuska's Dax Godsey came up big by drilling this three-pointer right here.
Godsey led the way for Pawhuska, scoring 21 points.
The Lady Huskies dominated from start to finish in their 40-point win. It was Hannah Reynolds who led the way. She finished with 27 points, but had 21 in the first half, including this three that got her team going in the first quarter.
Pawhuska plays host to Pawnee on Thursday for homecoming. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. on 99.1 FM KPGM and KPGMTV.com.
