On day two of the Pawhuska tournament, it was the Huskies coming away with a split decision against Morrison. The Lady Huskies got a convincing 63-36 win, while the boys fell 59-53.

The girls were dominant once again from start to finish, as the Lady Huskies led from wire-to-wire. Hannah Reynolds and Brooklyn Miles were both in double figures and it was Pawhuska looking to push the pace that got the Lady Huskies off to a fast start.

Morrison led for a better part of the boys game, but the Huskies were right there throughout. Neither team led by more than ten. At halftime, the Wildcats held a 26-24 edge and opened the second half on a 12-4 run to give Morrison its largest lead of the game. Pawhuska fought to get back in the game and on this score here the Huskies were able to make it a one score game with four minutes remaining in the contest.

That three point deficit is as close as Pawhuska got. In the late-going, Morrison's ability to make free throws was the difference, as they went on to get the six-point win. Lane Kyler finished with 18 points for Pawhuska.

On Saturday, the Lady Huskies tipoff at noon against Crossings Christian School. The boys will play at 4:30 p.m. against Epic Charter School. Both of those games can be heard on 99.1 FM KPGM and KPGMTV.com.
