Both Husky Teams Win on Day One of Pawhuska Tourney

The Pawhuska Huskies and Lady Huskies got wins on day one of the Pawhuska Tournament against Daniel Webster. In a round robin style tournament, both Pawhuska teams will play Morrison on Friday.
On the guy's side, Pawhuska was able to hold Webster at arms length throughout the entire game and get a 48-36 victory. A spurt late in the third quarter by the Huskies really showed who the dominant team was.
Dax Godsey and Jenson Snodgrass led the way in scoring for Pawhuska.
Having not played in seven days, Coach David Cash was anxious to see how the Lady Huskies would come out and play. Pawhuska quickly knocked off any rust, as the Lady Huskies led 40-0 at halftime and went on to win 55-12. The starting five didn't play a minute during the second half.
Hannah Reynolds led all scorers with 21 points, while Brooklyn Miles and Madison Easley also finished in double figues.
The Lady Huskies will take on Morrison at 5:30 p.m. with the boys to follow. Both of those games can be heard on 99.1 FM KPGM and will be streaming on KPGMTV.com.
