Bruins Kick off Tourney in Moore - Lady Bruins in KS
Bartlesville High basketball is in two separate tournaments starting on Thursday, as the Lady Bruins and Bruins go on the road for their final tournament play before the postseason.
The Bruin guys are in a tough event in Moore, the John Nobles Tournament. Thursday afternoon at 2:30 BHS kicks things off against the host- Moore.
Despite a lopsided result against Edmond North on Tuesday, head coach Tommy DeSalme says his guys are getting better.
BHS has had some freshmen compete better over the past few weeks, but consistency and continued defensive effort while Bartlesville goes through some offensive woes are key. DeSalme says those things will take some time to instill.
We will have radio coverage of the tournament for the BHS guys throughout the weekend, including on Thursday. A 2:30 tip on Sports Talk 99.1 FM – KPGM.
The Bartlesville girls will try to get back on track during a three-day event in Frontenac, Kansas. The Lady Bruins face the homestanding Lady Raiders on Thursday night at 7:00 PM.
