The Pawhuska Huskies took part in Day one of the Morrison Tournament and came away with a split decision.

On the guy's side, the Huskies took on Luther and the game was much closer than the 56-45 final score indicates. For the first three quarters, neither team had a lead larger than four. The Lions took a seven-point lead with less than three minutes remaining and following a key charge call that went against Pawhuska, Luther was able to extend its lead and get the win.

The Lady Huskies took on Oklahoma Christian Academy and they were on cruise control from the beginning. Pawhuska led 22-5 at the end of the first quarter and 39-12 at halftime before going on to get the 73-30 win. As has been the case for a large part of the season, defense led to offense for the Lady Huskies. Brooklyn Miles and Hannah Reynolds benefitted off that, as they both finished in double figures.

The Lady Huskies will play the winner of Frontier and Pawnee at 4:45 p.m. while the Huskies will take on the loser of Morrison and Oklahoma Christian Academy at 12:20 p.m. Both of those games can be heard on 99.1 FM KPGM and KPGMTV.com.
