Ironmen will host Fairland this evening for a double-header at Ty Hewitt Court.

The Nowata guys are off to a solid 5-2 start. Head coach Derek Ott says a lot of the practice time his club has had during the break has been spent on offense.

Despite the Ironmen scoring 70 points in their last win before the break, Ott says there is still plenty to get better at.

Tonight, it is one of the toughest tests of the season, as Fairland enters the game at 9-1 and ranked at No. 8 in 2A in the state.

Ott says Nowata will be without one of its leaders on the floor tonight. He talks about the matchup.

A 6:00 tip for the girls, guys to follow at 7:30. We will have the guy’s game on Friday on KRIG 104.9 and KRIGTV.com.

The girl’s game will be a tough one, as well. Lady Ironmen are 0-8 while Fairland is 8-2 on the ladies side.
