Nowata football overwhelmed in playoff loss

Nowata football on Friday made their first post season appearance since 2019, but the Ironmen ran into a state power as they fell to Rejoice Christian 69-6 in the first round of the A1 Playoffs.
Keyshawn Verner stood out for the Ironmen, as the Senior was a bright spot for the Nowata offense as he led the offense in receptions, including this big catch in the second half.
Nowata ends the season with a 3-8 record, while Rejoice Christian will face Fairview in the A1 Quarterfinals next week.
