Short Week for High School Football
It is a short week for most high school football teams across the area, as fall break will bring Thursday night games across the state of Oklahoma.
Bartlesville High will have its biggest test of the District season thus far, as Stillwater visits Custer Stadium on Thursday.
BHS is still a perfect 3-0 in District play after a huge 31-28 win over Putnam City West during Homecoming this past weekend. Bruins hit a field goal with seven seconds remaining to get the win.
Running back Sutton Williams got a chance to shine in limited action. Without PJ Wallace against the Patriots, Williams had 12 carries for 43 yards. He also forced what ended up being a game-winning fumble.
Head coach Harry Wright talks about the youngster.
We’ll have more on Bartlesville and Stillwater throughout the week.
The Bruins are 3-3 on the season overall.
