Two Dewey Lady Bulldoggers made their college commitments official during a signing on Wednesday.

Matney Epperson and Mylee Garrison signed to play at Oklahoma Wesleyan University. Epperson will play basketball at OKWU and Garrison will play volleyball for the Lady Eagles.

Epperson, currently in her senior season, led the Lady Bulldoggers to a 19-win campaign under head coach Michael Sanders. Their season ended one win away from the area tournament in the regional consolation finals.

On the volleyball court, Garrison was instrumental in leading the Lady Bulldoggers to their first ever trip to the 3A state tournament. Dewey volleyball finished their season 23-8 and peaked at No. 8 in the 3A state rankings.

Garrison enters a volleyball program that has been dominant at the national level. The Lady Eagles have advanced past the opening rounds of the NAIA national tournament three years in a row. They won the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) tournament championship this past fall and finished with an overall record of 26-5.

Epperson enters into a women's basketball program at OKWU that will return lots of experience from this year's team. The Lady Eagles finished 11-17 overall. They graduate four seniors who were regular starters off this year's team.
