Sooners Faced Gauntlet to Win Title

The state is still abuzz about OU 47^th team national championship, as the Sooners beat up on North Carolina to complete their amazing run in the NCAA Tournament.

It was a 13-2 win over the Tar Heels on Monday night to take home the title.

OU head coach Skip Johnson talks about the win.

The Sooners finished the season with a 43-23 record.

In the NCAA Tournament Oklahoma defeated No. 2 Georgia Tech twice, No. 3 Georgia twice, No. 5 North Carolina twice, No. 7 Alabama and No. 15 Kansas twice en route to the program’s third national championship.
