Lady Huskies One Win Away From Headed to State
The Pawhuska Lady Huskies kept their season alive for a second day in the area tournament, as they dispatched of the Okemah Lady Panthers, 41-30. In what was a low scoring 12-12 tie at halftime, the Lady Husky offense came to life offensively in the second half to grab the 11-point win.
In a game where every point felt monumental, this sequence proved to put Pawhuska over the top midway through the fourth quarter.
Brooklyn Miles had a great outing once again, finishing with 18 points, 16 rebounds and 11 steals. Emillie Curry had 10 points and Presley Long finished with nine.
Pawhuska will play the loser of Fairview and Dale on Saturday at 6 p.m. in a game you can hear on 99.1 FM KPGM and streaming on KPGMTV.COM.
