Lady Huskies Begin Area Tourney Thursday
The Pawhuska Lady Huskies have a tall mountain to climb if they are to make it to the Class 2A state tournament next week, as they must win three games in three days. It all starts with a game against Crescent from the Stride Bank Center in Enid on Thursday.
Coach David Lampton says despite suffering a 47-point loss in the regional championship game to Fairview, the Lady Huskies have had a good week of practice and are ready for the difficult task that lies ahead.
Lampton goes on to talk about what it will take to stop the Lady Tigers.
If Pawhuska beats Crescent they will play the winner of Okemah and Caney Valley on Friday.
