Huskies Beat Rejoice Christian, Clinch Home Playoff Game
A 30-15 road win over Rejoice Christian on Friday night clinched the No. 2 seed for the Pawhuska Huskies and a first round home playoff game next Friday.
It was a defensive struggle early, as neither team was able to get a first down until the fifth possession of the game. The Eagles struck first, but it didn't take long for Pawhusa to answer with this Lane Kyler touchdown grab.
Coming out of halftime, Pawhuska extended its lead to two scores on this quarterback keeper from Canyon Hindman.
Despite Pawhuska failing to convert on all five two-point conversion attempts, it was this goal-to-go situation that gave the Huskies a comfortable 24-15 lead midway through the fourth quarter.
