Harry Wright Previews Tahlequah
KWON had a chance to talk Bruin football with Bartlesville head coach Harry Wright on Wednesday evening during his weekly radio show from Dink’s Pit BBQ.
Coach Wright and Bruin offensive lineman, Britton Butcher, previewed BHS and Tahlequah on Friday in Bartlesville’s regular season finale.
Bartlesville has lost three games in a row to the top three teams in the District by a combined 10 points. BHS had the lead in the fourth quarter in all the games.
Close but no cigar so far for Bartlesville, but Wright says he is trying to show the team just how close it is to achieving some big-time November goals.
Butcher has been a staple on the Bartlesville offensive line the past two seasons, helping PJ Wallace become one of the best running backs in the state.
