Dewey Wraps Up Passing League; Prepping for Season

We continue our coverage of local and area high school football as we are on the other side of the mandatory OSSAA dead period. Today we look to the Dewey Bulldoggers who we have had extensive coverage on this summer. The Bulldoggers have been traveling to Pawhuska every Tuesday to participate in a 7-on-7 passing league, and just wrapped the final one this summer on July 9th.

Dewey Head Football Coach Ryan Richardson talks about what he’s seen from his guys week to week.

Now almost exactly a month away from official spring practices means it now becomes a race to the finish line on trying to close up summer work. The Bulldoggers will open up their season in zero week when they take on Locust Grove and will focus their first official practices on that.

Until then, Richardson talks about what he wants to get out of the remaining time in the summer.

We will have more from Richardson and Dewey football before the official start of practices next month.
