Dewey Football Schedule Released for 2026
Dewey football's schedule became official on Wednesday with the official release of the 2A-I district alignment.
The Bulldoggers are assigned with Bethel, Blackwell, Cascia Hall, Chisholm, Crooked Oak, Kiefer and Perry. Four of those schools made the playoffs last year in Bethel, Cascia Hall, Chisholm and Kiefer. Blackwell, Crooked Oak and Perry went a combined 4-26 last season.
On the non-district front, the Bulldoggers open the season in week zero against Vinita, followed by their home opener against Newkirk and Choteau on the road. Head coach Scott Sapulpa talks about opening the season in Vinita.
A season ago, Dewey finished 4-6 overall in Sapulpa's first season as head coach. The Bulldoggers were one win away from making the playoffs.
Spring ball and team camps are still about two months away before football season kicks into high gear for the upcoming season in about five months. Sapulpa talks about the approach for athletes not in baseball or track and the excitement level for the spring.
Dewey's week zero game against Vinita kicks off on Aug. 28.
