Dead Period Underway for High Schoolers
The other big story in high school sports this week is the mandatory OSSAA dead period, as all student athletes statewide will have the week off. School owned athletic facilities are going to be closed for the next five days.
This is part of an effort from the organization to make sure that athletes and coaches are taking time off before the back half of the summer.
We talked about the offseason so far for Bartlesville High football on Friday morning’s Bruin Buzz.
Head coach Harry Wright says he is happy everyone is getting some rest this week.
Bartlesville will rejoin offseason activities on Monday, July 8.
