Caney Valley (OK) Football Improving Through Summer
Caney Valley (OK) Trojan football is looking to improve from spring workouts into summer pride with the regular season coming up.
The Trojans are led by second year head coach Derrick Hammer, who has already seen a drastic change in participation within the football program and beyond.
On the football field, the Trojans held their own team camp at the last minute after Okmulgee cancelled their team camp earlier this month. Caney Valley was very young last year with almost half the team in their freshman season, lots of players make their return this season.
The Trojans open up their football season against Barnsdall on Aug. 28.
