Bruins Dismantle Capitol Hill

Bartlesville High got its second straight sweep in a row, as both BHS teams beat Capitol Hill easily on Tuesday night at Bruin Field House.
On the girl’s side the game was never in doubt. Bartlesville topped the winless Lady Wolves, 76-3. Bartlesville led 45-0 at halftime.
This three-pointer from Sami Shaeffer led to her game-high 19 points.
The win moves the Lady Bruins to 8-5 overall and 2-4 in District play.
It was similar on the guy’s side. The Bruin boys used a hot-shooting first half to take care of Capitol Hill, 81-21.
The Bruins made 11 first half three-pointers en route to a 60-25 lead at halftime. BHS coasted in the final 16 minutes.
This three from Jackson Barta was his second of the first half.
Bruin guys get their first District victory with the win. They are now at 6-7 overall and have won their third straight. This is the Bruin guy’s first three game win streak since January of 2022.
Both BHS teams are off until Friday when they travel to Stillwater for a road District double-header.
