Bruin Baseball Splits Tuesday in Alabama

Bartlesville High baseball split a pair of games during their second day of play in Gulf Shores, Alabama on Tuesday.
BHS lost game one but rebounded to win their second game of the day.
Bartlesville had trouble fielding in a 15-5 loss to Madison Academy in game one. The Bruins beat up on East Robertson in game two in a 9-1 victory.
The second game was a complete team win. Bartlesville did not commit any errors after making eight and surrendering 12 unearned runs in the first contest.
The Bruins had 11 base hits with four guys collecting multiple knocks in Sam Hill, Barrett Merciez, Sam Marcella and Wyatt Mathis.
Meanwhile Kanin Romesburg was sparkling on the mound, he gave up one run on five hits over six frames of work.
BHS is 4-6 overall and 1-2 on the trip. Bartlesville will continue play in Alabama on Wednesday.
