After Strong Start, Sooners Fall in CFP
It was a disapointing end to a successful season for the Oklahoma football team last night.
After getting off to a 17-0 lead early in the second quarter, the Sooners went on to lose in the first round of the college football playoff, 34-24.
As mentioned, the game started great. Already leading 10-0, this throw from John Mateer made it 17-0.
Mateer went on to throw a critical interception that was returned for a touchdown. Alabama tied the game at halftime and scored 27 unanswered points en route to getting the comeback victory.

OU finished the season with a record of 10-3.
