Nowata Softball Dominates in Season Opener

The Nowata Lady Ironmen softball season started 1-0 after a 10-0 win in four innings over Yale.
The Lady Ironmen dominated from start to finish for their first win of the season in shutout fashion at home. Nowata jumped out to a 7-0 lead through the first two innings that helped put the game away early.
Walker allowed just one hit and one walk over four innings in the circle.
The Lady Ironmen return a handful of pieces from last year's team and add a few transfers and freshman this fall. Ott talks about the depth in the lineup with new faces.
Nowata returns tomorrow on the road for Quapaw at 4 p.m.
