OKU Track and Field Heads to OKC For State

Oklahoma Union track and field heads into the 2A state meet with a lot of momentum following stellar results last weekend at regionals in Cashion.
From a team perspective, OKU won the regional championship on the boys side and finished second on the girls side. The Cougars won four combined regional championships between the boys and girls teams.
Oklahoma Union brought 27 athletes to regionals in Cashion last weekend, 20 of them qualified for the state meet this weekend. Jackson talks about the program's standard with a high volume of athletes competing at state.
The 2A state meet runs Friday and Saturday at Western Heights High School in Oklahoma City.
