OKWU Softball Hot Entering Final Week

Oklahoma Wesleyan softball is rolling with the season nearing its end.
 
The Lady Eagles have won eight straight and currently sit in second place in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) standings. OKWU is 33-9 overall and 16-4 in the KCAC.
 
Head coach Shawn Woods talks about the team's mindset.
 
The win streak comes right as OKWU enters a six game homestand. Due to weather over the weekend, the Lady Eagles were forced to play four games over two days before taking the field again on Tuesday. OKWU swept a doubleheader on the road against Tabor College on Saturday and swept Bethel College on Sunday at home.
 
Woods talks about being at home this time of year.
 
OKWU hosts Saint Mary in a doubleheader on Tuesday. Start times are 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
