Civitan Paddle Party for Inclusive Playground Equipment for Jane Phillips School

The Bartlesville Civitan Club is holding a Paddle Party to raise funds for inclusive playground equipment for special needs kids at Jane Phillips School.
 
Appearing on COMMUNITY CONNECTION, Joe Sears with Civitan and Stacey Goodwin,the principal of Jane Phillips School reminded listeners that the Paddle Party is Saturday, October 4, 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM at the Elks Club at 1060 Swan Drive in Bartlesville.
 
Sears explained, "A paddle party is a fun combination of an auction and a game of chance. With paddle in hand, as each item is auctioned you will have a chance to win a gift worth a minimum of $25 for just 25¢! Bring a roll of quarters and join us for an evening of fun and fellowship. Each paddle costs $5 and can be purchased at the door."
 
Civitan's focus is helping person with developmental disabilities. Their mission is to build good citizenship by providing a volunteer organization dedicated to serving individuals and communities, with an emphasis on helping people with developmental disabilities.
