OKWU Soccer Rolling in Conference Play

Oklahoma Wesleyan soccer is off to a hot start once again on both the men's and women's side.
OKWU women's soccer is 5-1-1 to start the season, and 2-0 in Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conferece play after back-to-back blowout wins over Evangel University and Sterling College. The Lady Eagles have a five match unbeaten streak.
Following an 8-0 win over Evangel last week, head coach Ivan Ristic talked about younger players getting impactful minutes in conference games.
The Lady Eagles are ranked 10th in the country according to the latest NAIA top-25 rankings. They will be back in action on Wednesday on the road for Ottawa University at 5 p.m.
On the men's side, the Eagles have not been beaten through their first five matches. OKWU is 3-0-2, with draws against LSU Shreveport and John Brown University.
The Eagles are one match into conference play after beating Evangel 3-0 last Wednesday. Head coach Jamie Peterson talked about some things he's looking for duirng conference play.
OKWU is ranked fifth in the nation in the latest NAIA top-25 rankings. They will return to the pitch on Monday for Sterling College at 4 p.m. in Bartlesville.
