Huskies Ready for Homecoming With Woodland

Ty Loftis
Following an impressive Battle of the Osage win over Hominy, the Pawhuska Huskies look to keep their winning ways going as they play host to Woodland on Friday night. The Cougars defeated Pawhuska 46-6 en route to an undefeated season last year, but they have lost several seniors, including three year starter at quarterback, Trey Bennett.
Despite this, Huskies coach Matt Hennesy knows his team will be in for a tough homecoming test, as Wodland is also predicted to be one of the best teams in Class A-II.
Hennesy goes on to talk about how difficult the Cougars can be to prepare for defensively and says the Huskies will have their hands full attempting to stop one of their linebackers.
Friday's game is set to kick off at 7 p.m. Pregame coverage will start at 6:30 p.m. on KPGM FM 99.1 and streaming on KPGMTV.com.
