Jaxon Zaun Commits to Southwestern Christian

Brian McSweeney
Bartlesville Bruin and Doenges Toyota Indian, Jaxon Zaun, will play college baseball.
Zaun announced on Sunday that he will continue his athletic career at Southwestern Christian University in Bethany, Okla.
Zaun, who missed part of the spring with Bartlesville due to injury, became one of the Bruins' best bats during the spring, appearing in 19 games, and leading the way to another 20 win season.
In a busy summer with the Indians this year, Zaun was third on the team in batting average at .312, led the team in hits at 34, and was second in RBI at 24. He was a part of an Indians team that finished as a state runner-up, and champions of the Glen Winget Tournament.
Zaun joins former Bruin and Doenges Toyota Indian Hunter Shea at Southwestern Christian next season, after Shea announced his commitment last week.
Zaun becomes the fourth Bruin in the past week to make a college commitment athletically, and the third Bruin baseball player. Kaden Romesburg announced his commitment to Northeastern State University on Friday.
Southwestern Christian is an NAIA school.
