More accolades coming in for former Bartlesville Bruin pitcher Brenden Asher.

As we reported on Monday, Asher was a big part of Oral Roberts winning a Summit League title on Saturday, as Asher got a win on the mound in a crucial spot in a game against South Dakota State.

Asher was named the Summit League Pitcher of the Week on Monday for his outing and win over the Jackrabbits. He tossed six innings and gave up only one earned run.

This was Asher’s third quality start in his last four appearances. This is his first weekly honor from the Summit League.

Asher will likely have some more action when ORU starts the Summit League Tournament on Wednesday in Omaha.
