Bartlesville High baseball bounced back with a road District win on Tuesday night at Muskogee.

Bruins topped the Roughers 7-0 in a more lopsided affair after Monday night’s thriller.

BHS played a cleaner game. Bartlesville committed only one error while starter Barrett Merciez again dazzled on the mound. Merciez put together his best start of the season. He went six innings, allowed three hits and no runs with eight strikeouts.

Sterling Kroh got the final three outs for BHS.

Offensively, Bartlesville continues to get better. The Bruins tallied nine hits and had three guys in the lineup with multiple knocks in Merciez, Jaxon Zaun, and Cy Rigdon.

The win moves BHS to 5-3 in District play and 14-8 overall. The 14 wins is now one win better than the Bruins had in all of 2024.

Bartlesville will next play a handful of games in the Pryor Festival this weekend before a two-game set with Stillwater in District action early next week.
