Huskies Win a Close One Against Newkirk, Girls Also Victorious

In Friday night's home game against the Newkirk Tigers, it was the Pawhuska Huskies finally coming away with a close win. The Lady Huskies also got a convincing winon Friday night.
The boys have had several narrow losses throughout the year, but this was their first win by eight points or less. This one was a 56-52 win. With the game ticking under two minutes to go, it was Darian West who came up with this big bucket to break a 50-50 tie.
Pawhuska didjust enough from the free throw line down the stretch to get the win.
Following the loss to Garber on Tuesday, the Lady Huskies have bounced back in a major way by winning each of their past two games by 25 points or more. The Lady Huskies defeated Newkirk 60-29. Maddie Reynolds is going to be a big part of the Lady Husky offense after Maggie Green's injury earlier this week. Here she is getting in the flow of things in the third quarter.
Hannah Reynolds finished with 23 points, while Brooklyn Miles added 19.
